About the role

Our clients include mid-size banks who face real regulatory exposure every time a sanctions list updates and their screening system lags behind. Manual monitoring of government sanctions publications is slow and error-prone, and delays create compliance risk clients cannot absorb. You will build a monitoring pipeline that watches official sanctions list sources, detects changes, and pushes structured updates into client screening systems within hours instead of days. Reliability and auditability are non-negotiable in this work, since every update needs a clear audit trail. You'll join our compliance automation team, working closely with a senior compliance analyst who reviews your pipeline's output before it reaches client systems.

Responsibilities

  • Build a monitoring pipeline for official sanctions list sources
  • Detect and structure sanctions list changes automatically
  • Maintain audit trails for every pushed update
  • Work with the compliance analyst on validation
  • Alert on monitoring pipeline failures

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience building data pipelines
  • Comfortable working with structured and semi-structured data
  • Basic Python and SQL skills
  • Attention to detail in regulated environments
