AI Schema Alignment Mapping Engineer

About the role

We're building the next generation of knowledge infrastructure for teams whose data lives across a dozen incompatible schemas nobody wants to touch. Every time we onboard a new client dataset, someone spends a week manually mapping fields to our internal ontology, and that doesn't scale as we add clients. You'll build a model that proposes schema mappings automatically, learning from the corrections our data engineers make along the way. We publish internally and encourage conference submissions if your mapping approach turns into something generalizable.

Responsibilities

  • Build a model proposing schema mappings for new client datasets
  • Learn from data engineer corrections to improve mapping accuracy
  • Document mapping patterns that generalize across client verticals

Requirements

  • 2-4 years working with data integration or schema matching problems
  • Comfortable with sql and large-scale data processing tools
  • Interest in knowledge representation or ontology design
