AI Security Alert Deduplication Engineer

About the role

Have you ever watched a security team drown in three thousand alerts a day, most of them the same incident reported five different ways? We publish internally and encourage conference submissions, and this role is a chance to turn that research into something our SOC actually uses. You'll build the deduplication layer that collapses redundant alerts into a single actionable signal.

Responsibilities

  • Design deduplication models that collapse redundant security alerts
  • Build streaming pipelines processing alerts in real time via Kafka
  • Evaluate dedup accuracy against SOC analyst ground truth
  • Publish internal writeups on techniques that worked and didn't

Requirements

  • 5+ years in security engineering or streaming data systems
  • Strong experience with Kafka or a comparable streaming platform
  • Understanding of SOC alerting workflows and pain points
  • Comfortable presenting findings in internal research reviews
