AI Snapshot Testing Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Our model snapshot tests take longer to run than the training jobs they're supposed to catch bugs in. We're looking for someone who can rebuild the snapshot testing pipeline so it scales with our test suite instead of fighting it. You'll be responsible for the infrastructure that every engineer touches before merging a model change, so reliability matters more than cleverness in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain containerized snapshot testing infrastructure
  • Parallelize test execution across the Kubernetes test cluster
  • Reduce flaky snapshot comparisons caused by nondeterministic outputs
  • Document the testing pipeline for new engineers joining the team

Requirements

  • 1-3 years working with CI/CD or testing infrastructure
  • Basic familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Comfortable reading and debugging Python test failures
  • Eagerness to learn ML-specific testing patterns
