AI Sports Workflow Automation Engineer

Claire Schneider

Full-time · Job · Toronto

About the role

As a fully async team spread across nine time zones producing live sports content, we believe great engineers ship automation that quietly removes bottlenecks rather than adding more dashboards for producers to check. You'll build the automated workflows that route highlight clips, generated captions, and camera-angle recommendations from our computer vision models straight into the production pipeline without manual review at every step. Our editors currently spend hours a week on tasks your automation will eliminate entirely, freeing them to focus on storytelling instead of file management.

Responsibilities

  • Automate routing of highlight clips into the production pipeline
  • Reduce manual review steps for AI-generated captions
  • Maintain computer vision models feeding the automation layer
  • Monitor pipeline health across live game days

Requirements

  • 3+ years building ML-driven automation pipelines
  • Experience with computer vision models in production
  • Comfortable with Docker and Kubernetes deployments
  • Available for occasional live event coverage windows

Benefits

  • Fully remote, async-first culture
  • Flexible working hours
  • Health insurance
  • Streaming service subscriptions included
