About the role

The pricing model you'll ship will directly influence millions of dollars in compute spend decisions made by our enterprise clients every month. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies running large-scale training workloads who need to know when spot instance prices are likely to spike before they commit budget. The team you'll join runs structured sprints with clear ownership and monthly reviews with client success leads. Your role is to build and maintain the forecasting model that predicts spot market price movements across major cloud providers, then surface those predictions inside our cost dashboard.

Responsibilities

  • Build forecasting models for cloud spot instance pricing
  • Maintain data pipelines ingesting pricing history across providers
  • Surface predictions inside the customer-facing cost dashboard
  • Validate forecast accuracy against realized market prices
  • Partner with client success on interpreting pricing signals

Requirements

  • 4+ years in time-series forecasting or financial modeling
  • Strong SQL and Python skills at scale
  • Experience with cloud cost or FinOps data
  • Comfortable presenting findings to enterprise clients
  • Experience with Kubernetes-based infrastructure a plus
