About the role

We sell developer tools for ML engineers, and our documentation is the first thing potential customers see. Great docs convert. Bad docs bounce. We need a part-time technical writer (20h/week) who can make our API references, tutorials, and integration guides clear enough that an engineer can get started without asking for help. You'll rewrite existing docs, create new tutorials for common use cases, build interactive code examples, and maintain our API reference as features ship. You'll use AI tools to draft and iterate faster, but the editorial judgment — what to explain, what to skip, what order to present things — that's all you. Perfect for a CS student or junior developer who writes well and wants to stay close to the AI ecosystem without being a full-time engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Rewrite and improve API documentation and integration guides
  • Create step-by-step tutorials for common developer use cases
  • Build interactive code examples that work out of the box
  • Maintain API reference documentation as new features ship
  • Use AI tools to accelerate drafting and identify documentation gaps

Requirements

  • Strong technical writing skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Basic Python proficiency to understand and write code examples
  • Familiarity with API documentation and developer tools
  • Interest in AI and ML technologies
  • Available for 20 hours/week
