About the role

We serve QA teams at companies who can't afford flaky test infrastructure to slow down their release cycles, and right now our own internal test environment provisioning is the flakiest part of the stack. Our clients include mid-size SaaS companies who expect their test environments to spin up in minutes, not hours. You'll help rebuild the provisioning layer using Docker and Kubernetes, with Airflow scheduling teardown of unused environments automatically. This is a contract role focused on a specific deliverable: reliable, on-demand test environment provisioning, with clear milestones every two weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Rebuild test environment provisioning with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Add Airflow-scheduled teardown for unused environments
  • Fix the flakiest parts of the current provisioning scripts
  • Report progress against milestones every two weeks

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Basic Python scripting ability
  • Exposure to Airflow or similar schedulers is a plus
  • Comfortable working against a fixed-scope contract
