About the role

New engineers spend their first week just figuring out which of our 40,000 tests actually matter and why half of them exist. This role builds the tool that generates plain-language documentation explaining what each test suite covers and why it was written, pulling context from commit history and code comments. You'll spend most of your time in test metadata and git history, not writing new tests yourself.

Responsibilities

  • You'll spend most of your time generating test suite documentation
  • Pull context from commit history and code comments automatically
  • Validate generated docs against senior engineer review

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience with Python and Git tooling
  • Basic familiarity with test frameworks
  • Comfortable working directly with a small team
