About the role

Cyber threat actors move faster than human analysts can track. Our threat intelligence platform ingests data from dark web forums, malware repositories, vulnerability databases, and honeypot networks — then uses ML to identify emerging attack campaigns before they hit our clients' networks. You'll build the analytical models that connect dots across these disparate sources: clustering related threat indicators, predicting attack escalation timelines, and scoring threat relevance for each client's specific infrastructure profile. The data is noisy, adversarial, and constantly evolving. We serve 40 enterprise SOC teams. Every alert you generate reaches a human analyst who decides whether to wake up the incident response team at 3 AM. False positives erode trust. Missed threats cost millions. You'll need to calibrate your models with that weight in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Build ML models connecting threat indicators across dark web, malware, and vulnerability sources
  • Design threat clustering algorithms grouping related attack campaign signals
  • Develop attack escalation prediction for proactive client alerting
  • Score threat relevance against individual client infrastructure profiles
  • Calibrate alert thresholds balancing detection coverage with analyst trust

Requirements

  • 3+ years in data science with cybersecurity or threat intelligence experience
  • Strong Python and scikit-learn skills for classification and clustering
  • SQL proficiency for querying large-scale threat indicator databases
  • Understanding of cyber threat landscapes and attack methodologies
  • Statistical skills for threshold calibration and model evaluation
