About the role

Have you ever wondered why a courtside seat is priced differently ten minutes before tip-off than it was that morning? We track secondary-market ticket prices across major sports leagues and need a freelancer to help build dashboards that explain price swings to our venue partners. This is a part-time, project-based engagement to start — good for someone building a portfolio in sports analytics who wants real production data to work with, not a toy dataset.

Responsibilities

  • Build pricing trend dashboards for venue partner reporting
  • Analyze resale price elasticity around event-day signals
  • Clean and reconcile ticket transaction data from multiple marketplaces
  • Deliver weekly summary reports during active event seasons

Requirements

  • Comfortable with python and sql for exploratory analysis
  • Some experience building dashboards in power bi or similar
  • Interest in sports or event ticketing data a plus
  • Available roughly 20 hours per week during event seasons
