AI Trial Extension Eligibility Scorer

About the role

You'll be the fourth data hire on a growth team of 11, working directly under our Head of Product Analytics on one specific, high-leverage problem: who deserves a longer free trial, and who's just stalling. Right now trial extensions are handed out on gut feel by support reps. Your job is to replace that with a scoring model that looks at usage depth, feature adoption, and account signals to make the call automatically. It's a small, well-scoped project with a clear owner and a real chance to see your model in production within your first quarter.

Responsibilities

  • Build and validate an eligibility scoring model from historical trial data
  • You'll spend most of your time in notebooks and SQL before anything touches production
  • Partner with support leads to sanity-check edge cases
  • Track model performance against actual conversion outcomes

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hands-on data science experience
  • Comfortable with scikit-learn and pandas for modeling work
  • SQL fluency for exploring product usage data
  • Eagerness to own a project end to end
