AI Vendor Code of Conduct Screening Engineer

About the role

You'll be the third compliance engineer on a team of eight, working alongside our policy and legal teams. We already screen employee conduct reports and internal policy violations; what's missing is a system that screens third-party vendors against code of conduct requirements before contracts get signed. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies in financial services, and reliability and auditability are non-negotiable when a vendor screening decision ends up in front of a regulator. You'll own the scoring model, working with defined sprints, clear ownership, and weekly syncs with the compliance leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Build vendor screening models against code of conduct criteria
  • Own scoring rules and thresholds with compliance leadership
  • Validate screening decisions against real vendor audit outcomes
  • Present screening accuracy metrics in weekly compliance syncs

Requirements

  • 5+ years in compliance, risk, or trust and safety engineering
  • Strong SQL and statistics skills
  • Experience with vendor risk or third-party due diligence a plus
