About the role

We serve insurance and financial services clients who onboard hundreds of new vendors a year, and verifying that submitted documents are authentic and complete is still mostly a manual checklist exercise. We don't care where you work from. We care about output, clear communication, and a genuine interest in document verification edge cases. This freelance engagement is about building a computer vision and retrieval pipeline that checks submitted vendor documents against required fields and flags inconsistencies before onboarding staff ever open the file.

Responsibilities

  • Build document verification pipelines combining computer vision and retrieval
  • Flag inconsistencies or missing fields in submitted vendor documents
  • Collaborate async with onboarding teams across multiple time zones
  • Report verification accuracy trends to client success

Requirements

  • Solid hands-on experience with computer vision and RAG pipelines
  • Comfortable working independently on a freelance basis
  • Strong async written communication skills
