About the role

Weather forecasts predict rain. Our models predict what rain does — to crop yields, energy demand, supply chain routes, and insurance claim volumes. We translate meteorological data into business impact predictions for clients across agriculture, energy, logistics, and financial services. The technical challenge is fusion. We combine numerical weather prediction outputs, satellite observations, ground sensor networks, and historical business outcome data into unified models that predict domain-specific impacts 7-30 days ahead. The meteorological data alone is 2TB per day; adding business context makes the feature engineering problem enormous and fascinating. You'll join a science team of four with deep domain expertise in climatology and risk modeling. Your role is the engineering bridge: turning research prototypes into production systems that serve forecasts to 40 enterprise clients via API. You'll also push the science forward — our last two hires published conference papers in their first year.

Fully remote.
