About the role

Our clients include enterprise compliance teams running whistleblower hotlines across dozens of countries, and reports arrive in whatever language the reporter is most comfortable using. Right now those reports get routed to a general queue regardless of language, which delays triage for anything not in English. This role builds a language detection and routing layer that identifies the report's language automatically and directs it to the appropriate reviewer team, working on-site with our compliance engineering group.

Responsibilities

  • Build language detection and routing for incoming whistleblower hotline reports
  • Integrate routing logic with the existing compliance case management system
  • Validate detection accuracy across low-resource languages used by reporters
  • Work with compliance reviewers to refine routing rules over time

Requirements

  • 5+ years of NLP engineering experience, ideally with multilingual systems
  • Strong Hugging Face and prompt engineering experience
  • Comfortable working on-site with the compliance engineering team
  • Experience with sensitive or regulated data handling
