AI Whistleblower Report Triage Analyst

About the role

We serve compliance departments at mid-size financial firms that receive dozens of whistleblower reports a month and need to triage severity fast. You'll be the second engineer on a compliance analytics team of 6, working directly with the head of legal tech. Reliability and auditability are non-negotiable — every triage score needs a documented rationale that would hold up in an internal investigation. This role splits time between our downtown office two days a week and remote work the rest.

Responsibilities

  • Build triage scoring models for whistleblower report severity
  • Document scoring rationale for internal investigation records
  • Partner with legal tech on escalation workflows
  • Maintain audit trails for every triage decision

Requirements

  • 5+ years in nlp applied to legal or compliance text
  • Experience with rag and hugging face models
  • Comfortable working in a regulated, hybrid environment
