Applied AI Scientist

About the role

We're building tools that help clinical teams spend less time on paperwork and more time with patients, and we need an applied scientist to push our modeling work further. We don't care where you work from. We care about output, clear communication, and ownership. You'll take ambiguous clinical workflow problems, turn them into modeling problems, and ship results that clinicians actually trust and use day to day.

Responsibilities

  • Translate clinical workflow problems into modeling approaches
  • Build and validate models using real clinical datasets
  • Partner with clinical advisors to sanity-check model outputs
  • Run rigorous statistical validation before any model ships
  • Present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years applying machine learning to real-world problems
  • Strong Python skills with PyTorch and scikit-learn
  • Solid grounding in statistics and experimental design
  • Comfortable working with sensitive, regulated datasets
  • Prior healthcare experience is a plus but not required
