About the role
We build shelf monitoring software for grocery stores. The hard part is not detecting products in a clean demo image. The hard part is poor lighting, tilted shelves, partial occlusion, seasonal packaging, and stores that rearrange sections without telling anyone.
We need a senior CV engineer to improve product detection and out-of-stock signals from fixed camera images and mobile audits.
Requirements
- - Production object detection experience
- - Strong PyTorch and dataset curation skills
- - Comfortable debugging real-world image quality issues
- - Retail or inventory domain experience is a plus
