About the role

We build inspection AI for manufacturing lines and need a computer vision engineer to develop and improve our defect detection models. Real-world, production CV work with physical hardware integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and fine-tune defect detection models for our inspection pipeline
  • Label and curate training datasets with domain experts
  • Optimise models for edge deployment on industrial hardware
  • Monitor model performance and retrain as needed
  • Document model cards and evaluation protocols

Requirements

  • 3+ years computer vision engineering experience
  • Strong Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Experience with object detection and classification (YOLO, EfficientDet, etc.)
  • Familiarity with OpenCV and image pre-processing pipelines
  • Bonus: experience with edge deployment (ONNX, TensorRT)
