About the role

Have you ever wanted to bring computer vision into a product that's currently all text and search? Our support knowledge base team wants to let agents search visual troubleshooting guides by image similarity instead of keyword guessing, and that's the project you'd own. The team behind this product cares about output over hours online, so how and when you work is mostly up to you. You'll build the vision models using PyTorch and computer vision techniques, then containerize and hand them off to the platform team for serving via Docker.

Responsibilities

  • Build image similarity models for visual troubleshooting search
  • Train and evaluate computer vision models using PyTorch
  • Containerize trained models with Docker for handoff to platform team
  • Collaborate with the search team on integration
  • Iterate on model accuracy based on real agent usage data

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with computer vision in production
  • Strong PyTorch skills
  • Comfortable containerizing models with Docker
  • Solid Python engineering fundamentals
  • Comfortable working independently with async collaboration
