We build autonomous mobile robots for warehouse fulfilment. Our robots navigate autonomously — but picking and placing items from shelves is still the hard part.
We need a senior CV engineer to improve our grasping perception stack. Current pipeline: RGBD camera → object detection → pose estimation → grasp planning. We're hitting accuracy limits on irregular/deformable items.
You'd own the perception layer: improve object detection and 6-DOF pose estimation, work with our mechanical team on gripper feedback, and test on our physical robot in the lab.
This is real robotics — you'll spend time in the warehouse, not just in notebooks.
Requirements
– Strong object detection and pose estimation experience (FoundationPose, DOPE, or similar)
– RGBD / depth camera experience (RealSense, ZED, or similar)
– ROS2 familiarity is a bonus
– Comfortable iterating quickly with physical hardware
– Has shipped CV systems outside of academic settings
