About the role

Some roles say accuracy matters. In medical imaging, that sentence means something heavier. We are looking for a research-minded engineer to improve lesion detection and study quality tooling while working in an environment with regulatory discipline, real radiology feedback, and zero appetite for hand-wavy evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Improve detection and prioritisation models in radiology workflows
  • Work with clinicians and QA teams on dataset quality and edge cases
  • Build evaluation procedures suitable for regulated product review
  • Document experiments and findings clearly for cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support transition of validated models into product pipelines

Requirements

  • 4+ years in computer vision or medical imaging ML
  • Python for research and production support
  • Computer Vision expertise in detection or segmentation
  • PyTorch for model development
  • Docker for reproducible experimentation
  • Statistics for validation and performance interpretation

Benefits

  • $132,000 - $158,000 base salary
  • Remote in the US with occasional onsite collaboration
  • Healthcare coverage and equity
  • Research conference budget
  • A serious domain where rigor is appreciated
