About the role
We install cameras in retail stores and use computer vision to monitor product availability, facings, and promotional compliance. Our system alerts store staff when shelves need restocking and flags misplaced products.
We're deployed in 1,200 stores across 6 European countries and expanding.
We need a mid-level CV engineer to improve our shelf detection and product recognition models and help us scale to new retail formats (convenience stores have very different shelf layouts from hypermarkets).
Requirements
- – Object detection experience (YOLO family or similar)
- – Has worked with real-world retail or shelf imagery
- – Edge deployment experience (models run on Jetson devices in stores)
- – Python and Docker for MLOps
- – Good annotation pipeline instincts — retail data is messy
