About the role
We move 40,000 pallets a month across six warehouses. Our ops team makes decisions from gut feel, Excel files, and the occasional WhatsApp message. We invested in a BI tool last year. Nobody built anything useful with it yet. We're hiring a data analyst who wants to be embedded in operations, building dashboards that warehouse managers actually open and doing the data work that cuts our cost-per-shipment. Rotterdam, two days a week in office.
Responsibilities
- Build dashboards tracking warehouse throughput, SLA adherence, and costs
- Analyse carrier performance data and identify improvement opportunities
- Support inventory planning with demand and lead time analysis
- Deliver weekly ops reports to site managers and leadership
- Identify data quality issues and work with ops to fix them at the source
Requirements
- 2+ years in supply chain, logistics, or operations analytics
- Strong SQL and Excel / Google Sheets for data modelling
- Tableau or Power BI for operational dashboards
- Able to understand physical logistics operations quickly
- Good communicator — works directly with warehouse and ops managers
