About the role

We don't care where you work from most days. We care about output, clear communication, and ownership. Our team of policy analysts and modelers depends on clean, timely regulatory data feeds, and right now too much of that pipeline is held together by manual scripts. The product: a set of internal data feeds that power our compliance modeling tools. What's missing: a data engineer who can turn today's fragile pipelines into something the whole team can trust. Your role: rebuild it properly.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain ETL pipelines feeding regulatory data models
  • Migrate legacy scripts into scheduled, monitored Airflow workflows
  • Partner with analysts to understand data quality requirements
  • Build data validation checks that catch upstream schema drift
  • Optimize Spark jobs processing large regulatory datasets

Requirements

  • 3+ years building production data pipelines
  • Strong SQL and Python skills
  • Experience with Spark and Snowflake or comparable warehouses
  • Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
  • Comfortable working two days a week from our Berlin office
