About the role
Bad data costs us decisions. We need a data quality engineer to build the checks, alerts, and processes that keep our data warehouse reliable. You will work closely with data engineering and analytics teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated data quality checks across our warehouse
- Build alerting pipelines for anomaly detection
- Document data contracts between teams
- Investigate and triage data incidents
- Partner with engineers to fix root causes of data issues
Requirements
- Experience implementing data quality frameworks (Great Expectations, dbt tests, Monte Carlo, etc.)
- Strong SQL across warehouse environments
- Understanding of data pipeline architecture
- Familiarity with observability and alerting tools
- Good communication skills — you will work with many teams
