Developer Workflow Automation Engineer

About the role

Our engineers lose hours every week to repetitive setup and review tasks that should be automated by now. We're looking for someone who's bothered enough by that to fix it. You'll design and ship internal automations that touch everything from environment setup to release checklists, using AI where it genuinely saves time and plain scripting where it doesn't. You'll have full ownership of a growing internal automation platform, from prototype to company-wide rollout.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-friction developer workflows worth automating
  • Build and maintain internal automation pipelines with Airflow
  • Integrate LLM-based tooling where it adds real value
  • Roll out automations with clear documentation and support

Requirements

  • 5+ years in developer tooling or platform engineering
  • Strong Python skills and workflow orchestration experience
  • Judgment about when automation helps versus adds complexity
  • Comfortable driving adoption across engineering teams
