Junior AI Chatbot FAQ Gap Auditor

About the role

As a fully async team spread across multiple time zones, we believe great engineers do their best work when they own a clearly scoped problem rather than a vague mandate. Every week, our chatbot fails to answer questions that a well-maintained FAQ should cover. You will build the tooling that clusters unanswered questions and flags the specific FAQ gaps causing them. This is a part-time role, roughly 20 hours a week, ideal for someone building experience in applied NLP while balancing other commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Build clustering tooling that groups unanswered chatbot questions by underlying topic
  • Flag specific FAQ content gaps responsible for recurring failed answers
  • Maintain a weekly report reviewed by the content and support teams
  • Support evaluation of Hugging Face models used for question clustering
  • Document recurring gap patterns for the content strategy team

Requirements

  • Some Python experience, coursework or personal projects welcome
  • Basic familiarity with Hugging Face libraries
  • Interest in conversational AI and content strategy
  • Able to commit roughly 20 hours per week
