About the role

A content marketing article translated from English to German should read like it was written in German by a marketer who understands the German market — not like a machine translation that substitutes words without adapting idioms, cultural references, or tone. Our platform generates multilingual content for 160 brands publishing in up to 12 languages, and quality scoring is how we guarantee the output meets brand standards before it's published. As a junior developer, you'll build and maintain the localization quality scoring pipeline for our AI-generated multilingual content. You'll implement quality checks across three dimensions: linguistic fluency (does it read naturally in the target language?), brand tone consistency (does it match the brand's defined voice?), and cultural appropriateness (are idioms, references, and examples relevant to the target market?). Senior NLP engineers design the scoring models; you build the pipeline that runs them at scale across our content volume. This is a starting role with real production responsibility. The quality scores you compute influence publication decisions for branded content that reaches millions of readers. Responsibilities

  • Build localization quality scoring pipeline running linguistic, brand, and cultural checks on generated content
  • Implement pipeline scheduling for quality evaluation before content reaches publication queues
  • Create quality score dashboards for brand managers to monitor localization quality by language and content type
  • Maintain scoring pipeline as new languages and content categories are added
  • Flag systematically low-scoring language-content combinations for NLP team investigation
  • Build quality trend tracking comparing scores across model and prompt updates

Requirements

  • 1+ year of Python and SQL development experience
  • Basic familiarity with NLP concepts and text quality evaluation
  • Interest in multilingual content, localization, or content marketing
  • Attention to pipeline reliability and score accuracy
  • Good communication skills for collaborating with brand managers across multiple time zones
