Junior AI Cross-Repo Documentation Link Validator

About the role

As a fully async team spread across several time zones, we believe great engineers do their best work when given a clearly scoped, genuinely useful problem to own, even part-time. Our documentation spans dozens of repositories, and cross-repo links break silently whenever a page moves or a repo gets renamed. You will build a validator that scans links across our documentation ecosystem and flags breakage before readers hit a dead end. This is a part-time role, roughly 15 hours a week, well suited to someone building experience in developer tooling while balancing other commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Build a validator scanning cross-repo documentation links for breakage
  • Maintain a weekly report of broken links reviewed by the documentation team
  • Support prioritization of which broken links matter most by traffic
  • Help evaluate whether LangChain-based tooling can suggest link fixes automatically
  • Document validator coverage gaps across the documentation ecosystem

Requirements

  • Some Python experience, coursework or personal projects welcome
  • Basic familiarity with documentation tooling or static site generators
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working across many repositories
  • Able to commit roughly 15 hours per week
