About the role

Airflow DAGs and streaming jobs are the core of what we build, and right now understanding what any given pipeline actually does means reading raw code or pinging whoever wrote it. Fast-moving team, big problem — we're building a tool that generates plain-language documentation directly from pipeline definitions, keeping it in sync automatically as DAGs change. In this junior role you'll help build and test the documentation generation logic against our real production pipelines, working closely with senior data engineers who will show you how pipeline metadata actually gets structured under the hood.

Responsibilities

  • Help build documentation generation logic from Airflow DAG definitions
  • Test generated documentation against real production pipelines
  • Flag inaccuracies in generated docs for senior review
  • Support integration of documentation generation into the CI pipeline

Requirements

  • Some experience with Python and basic understanding of data pipelines
  • Exposure to Airflow or similar orchestration tools is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn pipeline internals on the job
