About the role

Every model deployment at Rolvex Solutions follows a runbook, and too many of those runbooks are still a list of commands that someone copies by hand at 6 p.m. on a Thursday. We'd like a junior developer to turn them into automated, tested workflows. You'll start on a three-month contract and move to a permanent role if it's a good fit. Day to day, you'll convert manual steps into scripts and pipelines, add checks that stop bad deployments early, and work with our platform engineers to keep everything documented. Hybrid in Lisbon, two days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Convert manual deployment runbooks into automated, idempotent scripts
  • Add pre-deployment checks for model artifacts, configs and resource limits
  • Build Airflow workflows for recurring maintenance tasks
  • Keep runbook documentation in sync with what the automation actually does

Requirements

  • Basic Python scripting and comfort on the Linux command line
  • Some exposure to Docker and Kubernetes, even from personal projects
  • Organized and patient with detailed procedures
  • Eligible to work in Portugal
