Junior AI Glossary Term Extraction Analyst

Marcus Sokolov

Part-time · Job · Madrid

About the role

As a team spread across eleven countries, we work in writing first and meetings second. This part-time role fits that rhythm: around 20 hours a week, scheduled however suits you. Soltix AI helps localization teams keep terminology consistent across dozens of languages. Before a project starts, someone has to build a glossary of product terms, and right now that's mostly manual. You'll help build and evaluate an assisted extraction flow that proposes candidate terms from source content, flags ambiguous ones and suggests approved translations. Expect to compare model output with human glossaries, refine prompts and track precision over time.

Responsibilities

  • Run term extraction on client source files and review candidate lists
  • Refine prompts and filtering rules to cut irrelevant suggestions
  • Measure extraction quality against linguist-approved glossaries
  • Write short async updates on what changed and why

Requirements

  • Basic Python and pandas skills
  • Strong written English plus at least one other language
  • Interest in linguistics, translation or terminology work
  • Reliable with async, self-directed work

Benefits

  • Part-time with fully flexible hours
  • Work from anywhere
  • Clear path to a full-time role
  • Paid training in localization tools
