About the role

Finance spends two full days every month manually matching invoices to purchase orders when line items don't align exactly. You'll help build a reconciliation engine that matches fuzzy line items, flags mismatches for human review, and learns from every correction finance makes. We don't care where you work from. We care about output, clear communication, and a willingness to sit with finance users to understand where automation keeps breaking down.

Responsibilities

  • Build fuzzy-matching logic for invoice line item reconciliation
  • Flag mismatches for finance team review
  • Learn from correction patterns to improve match accuracy

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience with python and sql
  • Exposure to workflow automation tools like airflow
  • Comfortable talking directly with finance stakeholders
