Junior AI Kubernetes Autoscaling Support Engineer

About the role

Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS are the tools you'll touch every single day here. Our inference clusters scale up and down constantly, and right now that scaling logic is duct-taped together. You'll help rebuild the autoscaling rules so clusters resize based on real queue depth instead of blunt CPU thresholds. Fast-moving team. Big problem. We need someone eager to learn production infrastructure fast and isn't afraid to page themselves during an incident.

Responsibilities

  • Help rebuild autoscaling rules for inference clusters
  • Monitor cluster scaling behavior and tune thresholds
  • Document infrastructure changes for the on-call runbook

Requirements

  • Some hands-on experience with kubernetes and docker
  • Basic familiarity with aws or another cloud provider
  • Eager to learn production infrastructure quickly
