If you've ever wondered how a meme goes from obscure subreddit to mainstream brand campaign in 72 hours, this is the team tracking that curve. We already have a pipeline pulling in millions of posts a day; what's missing is a junior analyst to help tag emerging formats and validate model predictions before they reach client dashboards. Fast-moving team, big problem, no bureaucracy — you'll see your labeling work reflected in production within days.

Responsibilities

  • Label emerging meme formats to improve trend classification models
  • Validate model predictions against real-time social media samples
  • Flag misclassified trends to the ML team for retraining
  • Support ad-hoc research requests from client-facing teams

Requirements

  • Familiarity with social media culture and meme formats
  • Basic Python skills and comfort working with Hugging Face tools
  • Available for 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling
