Junior AI Release Notes Automation Developer

About the role

We don't care where you work from. We care that the work is written down, reviewed and shipped. Joltura Labs builds CI and testing tools used by about 900 engineering teams, and every week our customers ask for clearer release notes generated from their commits and test results. You'll help build that feature: parsing pull requests, grouping changes, generating readable summaries with an LLM and checking them for accuracy. It's a junior role on a fully async team of 18, with a senior engineer as your onboarding buddy.

Responsibilities

  • Build parsers that turn commits, PR titles and test results into structured change data
  • Write and test prompts that produce release notes in several tones and formats
  • Create accuracy checks that catch invented features or missing breaking changes
  • Answer customer feedback threads about generated release notes

Requirements

  • Comfortable with Python and Git workflows
  • Some experience calling an LLM API in a project
  • Clear written English
  • Self-directed in an async environment
