Junior AI Report Scheduling Optimization Engineer

About the role

Half the scheduled reports our platform sends out every morning get opened, glanced at for three seconds, and archived — and nobody has ever asked whether they're even sent at the right time. We're building a system that learns when each recipient actually engages with their reports and reschedules delivery accordingly. In this junior role you'll help analyze open and engagement data across thousands of scheduled reports, then support senior engineers in building the rescheduling logic. Fast-moving team, real data — you'll see your analysis reflected in delivery time changes within the same sprint.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze report open and engagement data across scheduled deliveries
  • Support senior engineers in building rescheduling logic
  • Flag reports with consistently low engagement for review
  • Help test rescheduling changes against real delivery data

Requirements

  • Basic Python and SQL skills
  • Interest in behavioral or engagement data analysis
