About the role

We're building the models that power personalized growth recommendations for thousands of marketing teams, and the modeling layer behind that needs a senior engineer who can own it outright. Fast-moving team, big problem: our current models were built for an earlier scale and need a serious rework. You'll design and ship new models using TensorFlow and PyTorch, with real ownership over architecture decisions rather than just executing someone else's spec. The recommendations you ship will directly influence budget decisions for our customers, so the bar for correctness is high but the autonomy to hit it is real.

Responsibilities

  • Design and train new recommendation models using TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Own model architecture decisions from prototype through production
  • Benchmark model performance against production baselines
  • Collaborate with the data team on feature engineering with scikit-learn
  • Mentor junior engineers on modeling best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years building and shipping production ML models
  • Strong hands-on experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Solid grounding in classical ML via scikit-learn
  • Comfortable owning architecture decisions independently
  • Track record mentoring more junior engineers
