About the role

We build AI-powered accessibility tools for visually impaired users — real-time scene description, document reading, navigation assistance and object identification, all running on smartphone cameras. We need an ML engineer to improve our real-time scene description model: faster inference, more context-aware descriptions, better handling of indoor vs. outdoor environments. This work genuinely matters — our 70k users rely on it daily. If that motivates you more than FAANG compensation, we'd like to talk. Stack: PyTorch, ONNX for mobile deployment, Swift/Kotlin wrappers. Remote-first, mission-driven team.
