About the role
We're building AI for autonomous systems — specifically training agents that make sequential decisions in complex, partially observable environments.
We need an ML Research Scientist with deep RL expertise to join our research team. You'll design experiments, implement new algorithms, analyse results, and collaborate with applied engineers to bring research into production.
Publications are valued but not required. What matters is that you've shipped RL systems that work in environments more complex than Atari.
Requirements
- – PhD or equivalent experience in RL or related field
- – Strong PyTorch and distributed training experience
- – Familiarity with PPO, SAC, TD3, MARL, or similar algorithms
- – Has applied RL to real-world problems (not just benchmark environments)
- – Strong communicator — you'll present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
