About the role

Our clients include mid-market SaaS companies that route thousands of support conversations through our NLP layer every day. Reliability and latency are non-negotiable here. The person in this role will own the retrieval and classification pipeline that powers our support automation product, from model selection to production monitoring. You'll work alongside a small platform team and have real say in what we build next.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Own the retrieval-augmented pipeline powering support automation
  • Evaluate and integrate new open-source and hosted NLP models
  • Monitor latency and accuracy in production
  • Partner with customer success on edge cases surfaced by clients

Requirements

  • 5+ years building NLP systems in production
  • Hands-on experience with Hugging Face and RAG architectures
  • Comfortable owning a system end to end
  • Strong Python engineering fundamentals
