We're the pricing team at a European airline. We price 180 routes. Our current pricing is largely rules-based — look at competitors, apply a markup, done.
We want to build demand elasticity models for our top 50 routes so we understand how demand responds to price changes at different booking horizons and days of week.
This is a modelling project, not a pricing engine build. We want the models, the methodology documented, and the key findings presented to our VP of Revenue.
Must be comfortable with causal inference — we can't just run a naive regression here.
