We're the pricing team at a European travel operator. We price 180 routes, and our current model is mostly rules, competitor checks, and a lot of manual judgement.
We need a data scientist to build demand elasticity models for our top routes so we understand how booking horizon, day of week, seasonality, and competitor changes affect conversion.
This is not a full pricing engine build. We want clear models, documented methodology, and findings that our revenue team can actually use.

Technical stack needed for this mission.
- Strong pricing, demand modelling, or causal inference experience
- Python, SQL, and solid statistical modelling skills
- Comfortable explaining tradeoffs to non-technical revenue teams
- Experience with travel, marketplace, or e-commerce pricing is useful
