About the role

We are deploying LLMs across our enterprise product suite and need a dedicated prompt engineer to own the prompting layer — designing, testing, and versioning prompts for reliability and consistency in production.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and document prompts for all product AI features
  • Build an internal prompt library with versioning and performance tracking
  • Run A/B tests on prompt variations
  • Collaborate with product and engineering on prompt integration
  • Keep up with LLM capabilities and update prompts accordingly

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience engineering prompts for GPT-4, Claude, or Gemini
  • Systematic approach to prompt testing and evaluation
  • Able to write clear prompt specs and maintain a prompt library
  • Familiarity with prompt patterns (CoT, few-shot, structured output)
  • Bonus: experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex
