About the role

A strategy team inside a global industrial group wants better support for internal research, memo drafting, and source synthesis. We are hiring a prompt engineer to shape the workflows behind that copilot. This is the kind of role where good judgment matters as much as API familiarity. You need to know when retrieval is enough, when decomposition helps, and when the product should simply say less.

Responsibilities

  • Design multi-step prompt workflows for research and memo generation
  • Improve grounding over internal documents and approved external sources
  • Create concise evaluation sets based on realistic analyst tasks
  • Work with legal and compliance stakeholders on safe product boundaries
  • Reduce failure modes caused by overconfident summarisation

Requirements

  • 3+ years in prompt engineering, applied NLP, or LLM product work
  • Prompt Engineering for multi-step business workflows
  • OpenAI API integration experience
  • LlamaIndex or LangChain for document and workflow orchestration
  • RAG evaluation habits with grounded answer design
  • Python for prototyping and evaluation scripts
