About the role
We have a growing library of internal scripts and automation tools that need to be upgraded into proper, maintainable code. We need a Python engineer who loves automation — from scraping and parsing to API integrations and scheduled tasks.
Responsibilities
- Refactor and improve our existing Python automation library
- Build new automation scripts for operations and finance teams
- Deploy automations as scheduled services using Docker
- Write tests and documentation for all automation code
- Monitor automations and handle failures proactively
Requirements
- 3+ years Python automation experience
- Experience with scheduling tools (cron, Celery, APScheduler, or Airflow)
- Strong knowledge of REST API consumption
- Able to write clean, tested, documented code
- Familiar with Docker for deploying automation services
