About the role

Finance is asking for more speed and more confidence at the same time. We need a senior analytics engineer who can improve the data foundations behind revenue recognition, margin analysis, and planning. The role is less about flashy dashboards and more about durable models, reconciliations, and operational trust.

Responsibilities

  • Model finance-ready datasets for planning and performance analysis
  • Build tests and monitoring for key financial tables
  • Work with accounting and FP&A on metric definitions and timing differences
  • Reduce manual spreadsheet work during close cycles
  • Improve documentation so downstream teams understand source-of-truth logic

Requirements

  • 5+ years in analytics engineering or finance data work
  • SQL for warehouse modelling and validation
  • Snowflake or equivalent cloud warehouse experience
  • ETL pipeline design and monitoring
  • Python for QA checks and automation
  • Experience partnering with finance stakeholders on reconciled reporting

Benefits

  • $126,000 - $148,000 base salary
  • Hybrid in Dublin with flexible schedule
  • Pension, annual bonus, and generous leave
  • A stable data stack with clear room for improvement
  • Work that matters every month, not just at planning time
