About the role

We are an enterprise software company headquartered in Bengaluru, India. We have 4,200 engineers, 600 enterprise clients across 34 countries, and a product suite that handles supply chain visibility, procurement automation, and vendor risk management for some of the largest manufacturers and retailers in the world. We are not a startup. We are not disrupting anything. We are a profitable, growing business that has been building serious enterprise software since 2008, and we are now expanding our AI capabilities team with remote hires in North America and Europe for the first time. The role we are hiring for sits within our Product Intelligence group — a team of 28 ML engineers and data scientists focused on predictive analytics features embedded across our product suite. Concretely, this means demand forecasting, anomaly detection in procurement data, NLP-powered document extraction from supplier invoices and contracts, and recommendation systems for vendor selection. The scale is real: our models run inference on over 2 billion data events per month. We invest in engineering quality, code review discipline, and documentation. Engineers here stay because the problems are hard, the team is strong, and the culture rewards careful work over quick shipping.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy ML models powering demand forecasting and anomaly detection features across the product suite
Own model quality from training through production: evaluation, monitoring, and degradation alerting
Collaborate with product managers and domain experts in supply chain and procurement to translate business requirements into ML problem formulations
Contribute to the ML platform: serving infrastructure, feature store design, and model versioning standards
Mentor mid-level engineers through design review and structured pairing sessions

Requirements

6+ years of ML engineering with production deployment experience at enterprise or significant commercial scale
Python at a senior level — clean, tested, production-ready code that survives handoff and review
TensorFlow for training and deploying models in our existing serving infrastructure — we have not migrated to PyTorch and are not planning to
Kubernetes for deploying and scaling ML inference services — you understand resource limits, autoscaling, and failure modes
Docker for building reproducible training and serving containers across our CI/CD pipeline
SQL for feature engineering from structured procurement, transaction, and vendor data at scale
Experience working in a large engineering organisation: code review, RFC process, cross-team dependency management
